Well I,ve had my xoom for two weeks now. It would have been nice if we were told that there was no flash, which was the selling factor over the I pad. The SD card slot is inoperative. I’m thinking of returning and picking up two new I pads for the price of one xoom.

The functions that you are complaining about will be fixed with a software patch? When? Who knows but I would rather Motorola took their time in getting the patch out with as high a quality as possible and also include options to disable flash if you don’t want it.

The IPad will NEVER have flash and IF it ever does it will require a hardware upgrade so Apple can get there next chunk of change from your pocket.

If you like Apples closed architecture with minimal yearly/bi-yearly upgrades for the price of a new device then go for it return the xoom and use the IPad.
