3 Mi-Fi Router Upgraded To Huawei E585

UK mobile broadband provider 3 have upgraded their popular Mi-Fi router to the new Huawei E585.

The new Mi-Fi router enables to customers to create a local area Wi-Fi hotspot which offers users the flexibility of accessing the internet via multiple mobile devices including laptops, smartphones, iPads and more.

The upgraded Huawei E585 router also includes an improved OLED display, and sees the removal of flashing LEDs which were previously used to indicate performance.

The router upgrades apply to all 3 Mi-Fi bundles, with the only exception being 3′s in-car Mi-Fi pay as you go package.

Motorists who use the 3 mobile broadband in-car services will be offered the Huawei E5830.

The new Mi-Fi device is available at an initial retail price of £49.99 for customers opting for the pay as you go service option.
