Google Now Represents More than 6% Of All Internet Traffic
Search engine and advertising giant Google, now represents on 6.4% of all internet traffic around the world. This means that if Google were a broadband ISP, it would rank as the second largest carrier in the world.
New statistics published by Arbor Networks reveals that the number grows as high as 8-12% if estimates of traffic offloaded by the Google Global Cache (GGC) deployments are included too.

With earnings of £4.626 billion in Q3 2010 alone, Google’s market share is growing considerably faster than overall internet volumes which are already growing by 40-45% every year.
