iPad 2 UK Release Date March 25th Priced From £429
Apple have this evening officially announced the launch of the iPad 2 device. With a UK release date of March 25th, UK consumers will be able to get their hands on the 16GB Wi-Fi iPad 2 for £429, with the 3G + Wi-Fi version priced at £529.
The iPad 2 will feature an all new A5 dual-core processor with a GPU nine times more powerful than the original iPad. The new iPad is also 33% thinner too, with its 8.4mm frame even thinner than that of the iPhone 4.
The new device will also include front and rear-facing cameras, with Apple also promising that the iPad 2 will match the same 10 hour battery life of its predecessor.
“With all this new technology onboard, surely something’s gotta give. But we’re managed to maintain our legendary iPad battery life, giving 10 hours of battery.”
“A lot of [our other tablet competitors] are coming out with substantially lower battery life, but the iPad 2 has been tried and tested and every reviewer has confirmed the 10 hour life.” – Steve Jobs
