LG Optimus Pad Android Tablet Set For UK Release

LG have announced that the European version of the G-Slate Android tablet will be officially launched at the Mobile World Congress event in a little over a week’s time.
The LG Optimus Pad will be the 3G version of the 4G compatible T-Mobile G-Slate that is set for release in the US, and will include an NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 processor, 8.9-inch capacitive touchscreen display, and a 6,400 mAh battery.
The Optimus Pad will also be one of the first Android tablets to be powered by the Android 3.0 Honeycomb software.
