Motorola Xoom To Be “With Google” Only – No MotoBlur

Motorola have today issued a statement confirming that their upcoming Android tablet, the Motorola Xoom, will not feature the MotoBlur user interface.

Instead of using Motorola’s own skin, Xoom the tablet will instead be a pure ‘with Google’ device running only the Android 3.0 Honeycomb software.

Motorola’s spokesperson said, “To clarify, Motorola Xoom is a Google Experience Device and the first tablet to incorporate Android 3.0 Honeycomb.”

“As such, Motorola Mobility has worked closely with Google to develop and optimize the Honeycomb OS on XOOM, and has no plans to customize the software with MotoBlur.”
