Orange and T-Mobile Mobile Broadband Network Sharing From 2011
Following the merger agreement between Orange and T-Mobile, mobile phone customers can now swap between each phone network as they please, although mobile broadband subscribers will have to wait until next year for the enhanced 3G coverage.
Earlier this year the two mobile broadband providers formed the new company Everything Everywhere, with the convergence of the two mobile networks now beginning to take place.
Customers on the Orange network can now call and text using T-Mobile’s mobile network, and vice versa. Although the two networks won’t be allowing mobile broadband customers to swap between networks until 2011.
