O2 Mobile Broadband Guide
O2 first entered the UK 3G mobile broadband market back in April 2008, and although arriving a little later than their rivals O2 wanted to ensure that they could offer a service that would meet up with customer expectations.
The company launched their first pay as you go mobile broadband dongle in March 2009, and also offer a range of ‘free’ Samsung laptop packages.
Last year O2 announced that they are to partner with Vodafone as part of a network infrastructure deal. The deal will see the two mobile broadband providers merge their existing mobile sites, and build new ones in partnership. Their aim is to improve overall UK mobile broadband coverage and future-proof their combined mobile network.

- O2 offer a number of mobile broadband contracts ranging from 1 month (flexible rolling contract), up to 24 months, with a choice of either 3GB or 10GB data allowance (downloads) per month.
